This Privacy Policy explains how RetaRate ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit retarate.com. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
  • Technical data. Our hosting and content-delivery provider automatically processes server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, referrer, time) to deliver and secure the Site.
  • Aggregated analytics. We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits and clicks on outbound vendor links. These statistics are not used to identify you.

We do not sell products, take orders or process payments, so we never collect payment card details or shipping addresses.

How we use information

  • To operate, maintain and secure the Site.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To understand which content is useful and to measure affiliate referrals.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Affiliate links and third parties

When you click a vendor link, you leave RetaRate and the vendor's privacy policy applies. Vendors and affiliate networks may use cookies or URL parameters to attribute your visit to us. We do not control their data practices.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with service providers that host or secure the Site, or when required by law.

Retention

Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider.

Your rights (including California residents)

Depending on where you live — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws — you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. To exercise your rights, email contact@retarate.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

The Site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

The Site is served only over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the "Last updated" date when we do.
